The days are getting longer and there’s a trace of sunshine in the sky; the breeze is less biting. Yes, spring is here! Why not shake off the winter blues by getting your tresses in order?! Switch Your Shampoo
Spring clean your hair by finding the right shampoo for your hair type (the same goes for your conditioner!). For a gentler cleanse, consider switching to a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner – especially if your hair is feeling dry. Because they’re free from sulfates (the chemical cleansing agents in shampoo that cause suds), sulfate-free shampoos don’t strip the hair of its nourishing natural oils. Give Your Scalp Some TLC Healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp. Dirt, oil and styling products build up on the scalp, which can lead to irritation and dandruff. At the very least, buildup leaves hair looking dull; over time though, scalp buildup clogs hair follicles, causing hair thinning or even hair loss. Well, to keep your scalp healthy, you should periodically exfoliate it as well. Use a scalp scrub or brush to slough away any buildup, and wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo once monthly. Hydrate Your Hair If your hair is feeling really dry and brittle, nourish it with a daily dose of moisture. Apply a lightweight oil or cream from the mid-lengths to the tips in-between washes. And whenever you do wash your hair, try not to use heated styling tools; if you can get away with letting your hair air dry, then do it. If you do need to use the hairdryer, turn the temperature down. Refresh Your Colour One of the best ways to lift your look is by freshening up your hair colour, whatever your shade. The spring and summer months are a great time to experiment with lighter hair colours or highlights, especially if you want to complement a sun-kissed complexion. Speak to your stylist about the hair colour trends we’re seeing this year if you’re struggling to settle on the right hue for you, or check out more of our blogs! Get a Trim Whether you fancy a whole new hairstyle or just need your ends tidying up, head to the salon for a seasonal trim. When you get a split end, it heads further and further up the hair shaft; the only way to fix broken ends is to snip them off. If you don’t want to lose much length, ask your stylist to ‘dust’ the hair instead. Spring Highlights! Now it’s time to lighten up your locks in time for Summer with our highlights offer! Half-head highlights, cut & blow dry for £85 or a full-head highlights, cut & blow dry for £100. Find out more here! T&C’s apply.

I loved how you said to freshen up the hair color! For the past couple of weeks, I have been thinking about changing my hair up and was wondering what would be the best way to do it. I'll have to look into finding natural hair color to use for my hair!
